Spray Foam Tech:

Custom Insulation is looking for an individual who is safety-focused and a team player to install Spray Polyurethane Foam Insulation along with other various products including batts & blown in insulation.  
The position is very important to our organization and is responsible for providing outstanding service and quality to our customers.

You will be utilizing an airless spray gun system to apply Spray Polyurethane Foam Insulation in building and structures. You must have knowledge of tools and equipment used during SPF installation such as; Sawzall for cutting and other hand tools for scraping foam.

The position consists of working inside and outside of crawl spaces, attics, and basements in both new and old construction. Other duties include loading and unloading materials, completing safety checks, and job site cleanup.

Wearing of “Personal Protective Equipment” is mandatory.
Must pass a drug test, criminal background check, and motor vehicle record check.

EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• Basic ability to read and write English

• Must be at least 18 years of age

• 2 years of prior Spray Foam and insulation experience
  * (Initial training period is approximately one week; requires ability to reach minimum 125% efficiency on consistent basis after 30 calendar days of service.)

• Must have a valid DOT card and appropriate medical documentation

DESIRED:

• High School graduate or equivalent

WORKER ATTRIBUTES:

• Good hand/eye coordination.

• Accurate attention to detail with ability to interact with team members in a fast paced work environment.

• Ability to lift and or move moderate to heavy components and pieces on recurrent basis.

• Ability to reliably comply with attendance requirements necessary in the JIT environment that are necessary to meet customer driven demands. 

• Ability to interpret and support standards, policies and procedures established by Custom Insulation and Federal/State/Local agencies. 

• Work schedule consists of four (4)10 hour days with required over time as needed.
